The Waifu Squad gogo dancers have performed for many of the shows you know & love in the midwest, such as: Anime Milwaukee, Anime Detour, Anime Central, 2D Con, Anime Fusion, & more! Formed in 2017, the Waifus continue to inspire others in their craft. Versed in cosplay & dance, their fandom themed outfits & array of dance styles will keep you hyped & vibing through your nightlife experience!

Sheng and the Wanderlust

Attending her first anime convention at Anime Detour in 2008, it has been non-stop since for Wanderlust as far as traveling, gogo dancing & volunteering or staffing for the anime community. Having started as a model doing runway & collections, she began her first gogo dance gig during No Brand Con in 2013, which has taken her to Seattle, LA, Vegas & Illinois to name a few. The tag “Wanderlust” is for her insatiable desire to explore, where she hopes to reach the east coast, large-scale conventions & collaborating with like-minded, creative & artistic teams.

Kime Sprite

Kime Sprite started gogo dancing in 2013 with a local Minneapolis team, Bass Kandi, in which she quickly grew her passion for dancing and creating outfits. As the years progressed, she was awarded 2nd best gogo dancer in the Twin Cities and started dancing freelance at multiple venues and events. In 2015, Kime Sprite was asked to dance at Anime Fusion with the ANX Idols and found her love of combining cosplay and gogo dancing! Since then, she has worked hard and endlessly to have danced at some the biggest anime conventions in the Midwest, including Anime Central, and always stands out with her original gogo/ cosplay creations, energetic dancing and fun personality. Kime Sprite looks forward to the adventures to be had with The Waifu Squad, especially in the name of dancing and cosplay, You’ll always be able to point her out as she is dancing her heart out on stage to hype up the crowd for the best night ever

Darkreilia

Darkreilia began her go-go debut at Ramecon 2014. She always enjoyed dancing at all of the convention dances and was scouted out by DJKagamine to perform on stage. Since then, she has danced at Ramencon, Anime Central, KitsuneKon, and many more to come. Her passion for dancing has brought her to new and exciting places. What makes her stand out against other dancers is her level of energy that is brought to the stage. Her style is more powerful than sensual, getting her involved with many types of music. Her goals for the future are to meet more people that are as passionate about their hobbies and interests as she is.
