What are we looking for in a DJ applicant?

• Attention to detail!

  • We are looking for someone who understand our: event guidelines and regulations, audience and how to amp it up, application process and its finer details.

• Professionalism

  • This includes: to our event, the convention community, the DJ community, and as a whole business!

• All applicants must be able to follow ALL of our event guidelines including but not limited to if Kitsunekon extends our COVID-19 Guidelines into our 2023 year. 

• Our Amplifier dance is an all ages event and all submissions and content must not be explicit in nature.

• EDM Style High Energy with Excellent Connectivity to the crowd!

What is needed to apply?

• Be awesome!

• Fill out our application FIRST!

  • Answer each portion as throughly as you can.

  • If you’re confused about any of the questions or need clarification, please reach out to dj@kitsunekon.com before finishing and submitting.

• Provide a 10-15 minute set sample for our entertainment chair’s consideration!

  • Email MUST be headlined “Kitsune Kon 2023 DJ Submission”
    

  • If you’d like to submit a multi-genre sample, it must fit within the 10-15 minute requirement

  • Include information about: who you are as a DJ, other venues/conventions you’ve been a DJ at, and a blurb about your style!

• Treat the application process as if you are applying for a job position!
