Artist Alley applications opened September 1st at 10:00 am CST. Applications closed September 29th at 10:00 pm CST. No further applications will be accepted.

 

Artist Booths

  • Artist Booths are 10 ft by 6 ft with a table that is 8 ft by 2 ft.d

  • For 2024: price for artist booth is $150.

  • Artists may only apply for one booth per applicant.

Vendor Booths applications opened September 1st at 10:00 am CST. Vendor applications closed December 1st, 2023 at 10:00 pm CST. Once it closes, No further applications will be accepted.

  • Vendor Booths are 10 ft by 10 ft with tables that are 8 ft by 2 ft.

  • For 2024: price for vendor booth is $250.

  • Vendors may only apply for up to three booths per applicant.

General Information 2024

Non Premium badge hours

  • Friday: 2 pm to 8 pm CST 

  • Saturday: 10 am to 7 pm CST

  • Sunday: 10 am to 4 Pm

Premium Badge holders get early access to Dealer’s Hall from 1-2 pm Friday!

 Artists and vendors are responsible for their own travel and hotel needs.

Artists and vendors are vetted each year to maintain quality standards and an even layout of all merchandise. Artists and Vendors are required to follow: all Dealer’s Hall guidelines, event guidelines, rules and regulations, and direction of event staff.

Any sword or weapon props purchased in the dealer’s hall must remain in sealed packaging and be off the convention floor as soon as purchased to maintain no live steel safety regulation.

Any 18+ items can only be purchased and viewed with valid government ID. Please remember that our event is a family friendly event and explicit content maybe asked at the staff discretion to be put away or off the convention floor if displayed inappropriately.

Artists and Vendors are prohibited from use of open and/or controlled flames of any kind including but not limited to: hand torches, Bunsen burners, toasters, lighters, ovens, kilns, etc.  Additionally, artists and vendors are prohibited from using the fire exists after the loading and before the unloading times. These are safety hazards and are prohibited by our venue. Any vendor or artist found using any of these in the venue will be uninvited from the event immediately and blacklisted from applying in the future.

  •  I applied and got in; What should I do?

    • Keep an eye out in your inbox (be sure to check your spam folders!) for incoming information and possible requests of information!

  • I applied and didn’t get in/was sent a declination; what do I do?

    • Try again next year! We at Kitsunekon have  a high standard for vetting and may decline applicants based on: poor standing with the event, previous issues brought to our attention, large numbers of complaints from customers or attendees, unprofessional conduct both at event or online, etc. If you’d like feedback of have any questions about declination or want to check the status of your application, please email our vendor head at vendors@kitsunekon.com

  • I applied and I haven’t heard anything or don’t know my status; what do I do?

    • We always recommend to double check both your primary and spam folders of your email; you may have missed us.

    • If you still can’t find anything and want to check the status of your application, please email our vendor head at vendors@kitsunekon.com

    • Those not selected will be put on a wait list! If anyone drops out and a slot becomes available, we will reach out!

  • I didn’t apply when the application was open; is there a chance that I can join the wait list?

    • Unfortunately, no there’s not a chance to join the wait list. We have such a high volume of applications that adding post application is not possible.

    • We highly recommend applying for the next year! Put a reminder in your phone to apply as slots fill fast.  We also post on our social media (Facebook & Instagram) reminders and additional information! Be sure to follow us on there as well!

    • Applications for the next year are in early October and we always recommend filling it out as soon as possible  with all your information.
